...But You Didn't

The clouds in the sky were swaying to and fro,
While the rains were creating waves in the heart.
I beckoned you to the garden of love,
I thought you’d follow…
BUT YOU DIDN’T.

The silence of the air had gripped my soul,
With you standing close to my self;
I waited for the warmth & my world of your arms.
I thought you’d caress…
BUT YOU DIDN’T.

Time grew vicious and drew us apart.
With dew in the eyes, distances increased.
I wished you would turn to give a loving gaze,
I thought you’d turn…
BUT YOU DIDN’T.

But how could distances overpower love?
There were just tokens of love I could send.
I longed for something similar from you.
I thought you’d respond…
BUT YOU DIDN’T.

Alas, there came a call from the Supreme.
But that was sent for me alone.
I left for my eternal journey, leaving you quite puzzled.
When you though I’d return…
BUT I DIDN’T…

  1. u have very well expressed urself or rather everyone..we all go through this phase some or the other time in our life..we expect some things from loved ones and and they fail to that and we make our heart understand the things but after sometime our heart too becomes a rebel and denies to understand anything.and they we decide that now no more.. and we give up..True!..but on the other hand why do we expect? or we expect more than their capabilities?

  2. Love is a feeling often left unexplored by the person left for whom it is meant to be… many a times it's difficult reckon what lies behind the disguise of relations. By the time, disguise wanes… everything becomes irreversible… all matter of time. Every possibility is counted within time or out of time.
